Title: exhaust fitting back box question 16v-8v

is the 16v back box the same as the 8v back box? i.e can i buy a 16v one and it'll fit my 8v middle section?

no mate there diferant sizes.
the 8v is 2" and the 16v and VR6 is 2.5"
you can fit a VR6 or 16v exhaust to your 8v but it has to be from cat back. thats what i have fitted to mine.

Nope, pipe diameter is different; 16v is 55mm and 8v is 50mm so you'll need a reducer or the 16v middle box as well :wink:
