As title, every 10 or so minutes it'll disconnect from xbox live. Not sure if it's xbox live problems or my router problems.
-
Google the router setting for XBL. I had to mess about with port forwarding on mine when I first got it.

I keep getting it even though I've opened up the ports AND enabled DMZ for the xbox. I don't understand :undecided:
-
Hmmm. I have got a 30mtr cable i was running thru the house for my old xbox. Think im gonna have to go back to that.
-
I've connected it wirelessly, but I night have to try using a cable to see what happens.
-
I had similar issues with a wireless connection after an xbox update a few months back. The only solution I found was to use a wired connection instead.
TBH - I bought a home network adapter and the connection is loads better.
-
I've always run mine wired and TBH the occasional issues I've had have always been router settings related
-
Yeah I think wireless creates lots of problems. My PS3 ran wired and never had a problem.
-
my old xbox was wired (as i've said) and now ive got the new one with wireless built in i've had nothing but truble with it
-
I've just wired the connection and no issues whatsoever. Need to buy a longer cable and run it around my room now
-
thats why ive got a 30meter one lol, run it right thru the house!
-
Get a homeplug adapter - no cables...
-
not a bad idea, use one at my gf's house on the laptop, but never thaught about on for the xbox, cheers
-
Works fine on mine - wish I'd done it sooner
-
