Hi
I have the link here to my photobucket images of BBS wheels I have spent the best part of 2 days trying to find the centre caps.
http://s1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc396/Madirish88/GTI%20MK3/
1st photo is my wheel, the 2nd is what the centre caps looks like...
I am trying to find out the wheels name and the fitment size of the centre cap. The VW model stamped inside is 1H0 601 171 B/BXF. I worked out the 1H0 means MK3 Golf. So they might be off a VR6 I think. I found an image online, but they are on a VR6 Corrado.
German Ebay is the only place I have seen the original centre caps...and they cost more than the alloys wheels did! My measurements of the Lug area is approx 56mm and the wider area about 140mm.
I have seen a few cars running about with audi and porsche centre caps...I used to think that was for the look..but now I think its cause they are the only alternative. Can anyone shed any light on this please? Basically looking to fill this space with something! Thanks....
