his first solo album or the black star album? If you like him you should check out Train of Thought by Talib Kweli and Hi-Tek (reflection eternal)
I used to listen to a lot of hip hop when I was younger, all different genres uk and us, and this was one of my all time faves :) I prefered the slower more laid back styles but if you like Talib's solo stuff then you will like him in this
also any album thats introduced by dave chapelle doing an impression of nelson mandella is an instant win
edit: fave song off the album http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmYsYRI5v7w
Fave song now though is probably something by rise against or metallica, also listening to a bit of joe bonamassa's new album. I have a pretty eclectic music taste
Fave rock is probably Metallica - all nightmare long http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S28LDft7cO4
Fave blues track atm is Joe Bonamassa - the whale that swallowed jonah http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G9Ymw3HboXE

The J.Cole album is fantastic. Best US rap album I've heard for a while.
I've been playing the new Musiq Soulchild album.... Another cracking album and I'd recommended it if your in to Neo Soul.

Currently listening to Talib's Quality album dan! Will look for that reflection eternal album now.
I love more chilled out hip hop, hence me liking alot of J' Coles stuff, much prefer chill out beats! Especially in the car!
