Hopefully, from the vids I've seen it looks good - but Honeycomb looked good until I used it.

Jay what version of the Android OS is the current one?

I'm on 2.3.3 but when I plug my phone in to Kies it tells me the software on there can't be updated

I think Samsung locked it out when they reflashed it during the repair...

The latest for phones is 2.3.7 (which I'm running, is 24 days old :smug: ) though the version of Android you use doesn't matter that much in reality, it's the functionality that the ROM brings that matters the most

What phone is it? Is this lack of software updates causing you a problem?

Not really I just like to be up to date with things lol

It's a Galaxy S, I do have to force a soft reset every few days as random apps lock up the phone though, even the e-mail app

Take a backup with MyBackup Pro(use the free trial  ), do a factory reset give it a few days with minimal apps and see if it happens again, if not restore the apps & data using MyBackup Pro and see how you go from there.

Otherwise take it back and get it replace, take a MyBackup Pro backup before returning it though and keep the backup found in the rerware folder on your PC/SDcard.

It does say that it's low security and experimental before you select it.
