Title: polished tube/pipe

im after about 300mm of polished pipe suitable for the cooling system for my mk2. its got to be about 40mm diameter or slightly smaller. any ideas apart from the bay?

Make sure you rough the ends of the pipes up, or the rubber/silicone hose you're using will blow off under pressure.

Went to the 'ring with someone with a 20VT Rallye who couldn't understand why his shiny boost pipes kept blowing off.  :grin:

Here, have some emery cloth, make the ends not-shiny: problem solved. :grin:

I found a hand swaging machine on site one day just chucked in a skip!Gave it a clean up and now all my polished boost/cooling pipes get a small swage on the end and it does the trick.
