chaps,
i have a pair of the x11's i think the model is and am thinking of getting the wireless
ones...
has anyone got a pair and how do they rate them

Basically I bought them and I love them. :afro:

Some things to note:

- If you're outputting in HDMI then you'll need to run optical audio from the TV to the base unit, unless get an adapter (less than a tenner) to run the optical from the Xbox alongside HDMI, which i believe improves sound response
- The bases unit processes optical audio as 5.1 or 7.1 but the headset only simulates it (as its only a stereo headset), albeit very well. Certainly useful on battlefield, you can hear enemies creeping up behind you  :shocked:
- IIRC this is common on wireless headphones but there is a slight static noise a low sound levels, but you don't really notice this in game.
- The base unit can apparently interfere with your WIFI signal if placed close to your router or wireless adapter. I've had no experience of this though.

that is the problem with the one i have now i used to use a hdmi for my xbox-tv but changed to componant lead as i didnt buy
a little rc adapter thing with 2 fono inputs
i will if i get the wireless ones
and they have come down in price too.
with the ones i have now the qualitly of sound is 2nd to none

the sound is great as long as you can put up with a feint background whistle/hiss at very low volume levels (i.e. at the dashboard). TBH I dont notice it now.
