To be fair I see problems with Android handsets and the almighty Jesus phone more often than BB's, and the BB's having issues were in use by a construction company and they get dropped out on site in water/mud/concrete. Since moving to the Jesus phone I've had no calls to set them up, but that's because they do it themselves, so I hate to guess how many iphone4's have been 'bricked'

yep.. very shocking i must say. no updates, reasons for last down time etc etc

tbf its been very reliable over the last 4/5 years I have been on bb, but their level of response when something does go wrong leaves much to be desired  :undecided:

will i look at the other options come upgrade time??? i always do

They've always been to corporate focused, they've tried to change that but it's not worked as they don't understand the normal people who now use other smart devices. They only understand corporates. The IT guys want iPhones and Androids because they're more personal devices, also the normal people are bringing in their own devices from home and IT guys are having to allow them onto the networks.

Probably not... as most people are tied into contracts. Although if yours was coming up for renewal then you would seriously consider moving to another make if this continues with out any real reason being given.

Any more of these over the next 6 months and I think it will lose a massive share in the market!

Seems to be mostly BIS not BES being effected but some sources now saying BES is having issues. Someone is going to get fired!

I know for a fact BES has been down today, 95% of our clients with BB's have BES for their Exchange servers and defo not working or working sporadically.

first ones a bit ugly and the second one isnt much better... i  quite like my bb. does everything a phone needs to do and for everything else I have the relevant tool

I find its better to simply life rather than complicate it. :nerd:
