Title: Avo Coilovers
Post by: golf girl on 26 April 2005, 21:34
Hi guys

I'm thinking of putting a set of Avo coilovers (height and damper adjustable) on me Jetta. Whats the ride like as being a woman I'd really like the best of both worlds comfortable ride for the general everyday (I've already got a cabbie that will shake ya teeth out) and the option of dropping it to the floor for the special occasion.

i've heard good things about them. a mate had a set years back and he's after a set now. must be pretty good.

i've got fk's on mine and they're pretty good for the money.

I've just fitted a set, and so far they seem brilliant. I got mine from europerformance, they were £534 delivered - cheapest I could find, and no-one was doing a gb on them .They are a piece of p1ss to fit, just remember to replace the top mounts front and rear, as the rears are as cheap as chips. For the fronts I went for g60 items from ecp, as alledgedly(?) they are heavier duty

topher, I take it you mean the 'C' spanner, if so give AVO uk a bell, they were really helpfull when I rang them (when I snapped the adjuster off - KNOB!!), they'll probably bung one in the post or you FOC
