What'd your best mpg and no foot on clutch and coast got this on way to work ten mile trip when I got there that's what I had driving like a granny all way to work (http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/j412/dam088888/IMAG0585.jpg)

Mines probably about 28 from memory. Don't think I've seen anything in the 30's

It's a 1.8t sorry been mapped only seen them figers since its been mapped tho

Mine is better on fuel since the remap, I guess it is the extra torque.

My best was 52 mpg. :o

Not long after a service so car was. running sweet. 15 mile journey. all on a roads. Literally sat at 55 for the whole 15 miles and when accelorating ect i hardly pressed the pedal.

highest ive had since was 48

Ive been to the coast a few times recently with the car full of gear and people and seen around 39mpg remapped and de-cat.Those mpg readings were running around while we was there too.

iv had my 1.8t on just over 40mpg, 40mph road in 5th gear for a few miles.

ps, coasting doesnt help your mpg, put in a high gear and the cars momentum will run the engine without using any petrol at all, when your coasting your still using petrol to keep the engine idling
