Post by: jonnyturbo on 10 October 2011, 14:59
As above are the MK4 R32 seats a straight fit into a golf that has had recaros fitted from factory . As in will airbag connectors be the same ? Do they use same mouting points for the subframe . Also if the R32 seats are heated would I get a light on dash as i wud not be using the heated function. Thanks

Depending on the year of your car it will be a straight swap

You won't get a warning light for not having the heated function connected

How much of a job is retro fitting heated seat looms to my car to make it possible to put heated seats in ?

easy, just buy the kit, tap it into the appropriate points in the car and away you go. I think VWTeeside on ebay still sell the looms with switches
