any one got one one for a 8v gti i just bought it and it wont stay under 3000 revs! please help i really wanna go out in it!

Are you sure it is your ISV that is it at fault, it generally raise your idle speed, not lowers it. Maybe I have misundersood your post or misunderstood the function of the ISV. Anyway if you are sure you need one, I have a spare one available.

yeh is definately that if i nip the pipe coming out of the isv the revs die down but let go and they go well high again! how much? can you post im in norwich!

danny gti 8v, I'll check in the morning that it is still in working order (it has been in my garage since I bought it some months ago) and send you an e-mail to confirm details.

checked ebay? there was one on there not long ago

danny gti 8v, sorry my spare ISV is not working, good job I checked it before offering to sell it. Try ebay. Sorry to have raised your hopes for a quick fix for your problem. (I have also sent you an e-mail with these details)

Could this be the closed throttle switch on the bottom of the throttle body anyone? mine sticks every now and again with the revs floating around 1500 rpm. If i blip the throttle, it will cure itself!
