Title: GOLF MK2 GTI STEERING COLUMN PARTS HELP!!!

Hi I am looking for part numbers 191419517 a steering column lower bearing and also 191419527 four rubber sockets which attach the early mk2 golf column tubes for my golf gti mk2 A reg please. ive tried google,ebay ect ect but no joy and they are now obsolete at VW. HHHEEELLLPPP!!!!!!!!!  :sick: :sick:

I bought a lower steering column bearing for my mk2 Golf from VW back in 2010 so they should still sell them.  Obsolete?  Na, they cant be.  I will ring my Worcester branch and see if they can get one, ok

Speak to your local dealer and see if they are available under the classic parts scheme

Try Big Boys Toys as they can order stuff from Classic in Germany...

UK Dealers aren't interested in ordering classic parts

....why dont you try and sourse a good second hand column from the scrapies thats what I did cost me £15, was from a low milage car.
However you need to take half the dash out to remove and install, but thats just your own time!
just remenber to put the lower spring in before you connect it back up. :wink:
