Title: Back from bodyshop after respray!
Post by: jonnyturbo on 08 October 2011, 18:26
Well here is my car fresh back from the bodyshop. Well it was a week ago lol bloody raining non stop up here so not been able to get a good picture.

Anyway i have had a full respray. Also had some little extras done to lol leave them up to you guys to ponder / guess over lol . Really pleased with the paint job tbh lol.  Top marks for my cousin ( Give yourself a pat on the back paul lol ) As you can imagine i have taken lots of pictures lol. Although the bottom two pictures it looks black LMAO!

Things left to do i need to put my LCR splitter back on the front . Remove window tint And get my wheels powder coated ( still deciding on colour lol )

So this is how my car looked before it went into the body shop

lookin good overall mate. but just one question about the back bumper, has it been resprayed, if so looks like it either needs a flat n polish abit more or more laquer. Unless its just your camera.

Have you got a direct shot of the FMIC behind front bumper?  I have THS one aswell and considering R32 bumper just dont know what it will loook like behind R32 grilles.

Your bumper standard or copy?

Looks well!

Post by: jonnyturbo on 08 October 2011, 20:18
Well i had a REP bumper and TBH didnt trim much at all. And i trimmed even less on genuine bumper. just a little bit behind drivers grill . All to do with the position of ya FMIC tbh

looking good. i vote you keep the wheels them colour, far too many people get them plack or grey and it just makes them look cheap, great wheels that deserve to stand out, best wheel for mk4

Thanks Houston . Yep I have decided on silver as think a gun metal or anthracite will visually shrink the wheel LOL
