Title: How to fit G60 arches onto my Mk2 16v

Hi guys as it states is there anything else apart from ripping the old arches off and riviting the news ones in i need todo?

if you dont want to cut a square hold in the wing then snip off the plastic clip on the g60 arch (if its brand new)

You don't really need to use sealant on these if they are rivited but its good to put some on to stop it vibrating on the wing (less scratches)

Thom is the man when it comes to sealants etc

I've got them all four all marked and stamped vw g60 etc!

the inner wing liners are differant too if you wish to convert it properly

Why cut wings and risk rust issues, just cut the plastic tab off the arch. If you cut the wing there's no going back, whereas the under arch will never be seen. I cut mine off 5 years ago when I fitted em, and still no probs..

i agree mk2bal i dnt feel to cut into the wing just cut the plastic off the arch itself i think this is the way forward. did u change the lining too or leave your existing one?
