1, the speedo doesnt work,,, someone mentioned that the sensor is faulty,,????
2, a new gearbox was installed, but the bloke upset the cables ??? now the gear change is a bit loose ????
3, the petrol gauge is a bit wonky ???? reading all over the place,,
any ideas would be helpful,

1) Speedo sensor is on the gearbox, make sure it is plugged in.
2) Could be an adjustment issue
3) Sender unit, unplug and earth the plug out if the gauge goes up then the sender unit is faulty.

well after lot of trolling the internet
1, a lot of talk about broken wires under the battery box, so out it came and srtipped the loom, nope no broken wire, checked the speed sensor was plugged in, yip its in place, finally someone wrote to check the fuse, small 10a number 7 in the box, and low and behold, fuse blown, replace fuse, speedo and fuel gauge now working perfect as is the mph mpg computer thingy, mental note to self always check the fuse first,
2, i found the correct method of setting up the gearbox cables, that done now gear change is spot on, very simple job took 5 mins,
thanks for the reply
