Title: Engine out....

Whilst my engine is out is there anything I'm best off doing before it goes back in? I've got to put back on my steering rack clmap as thats gone walkies  :huh: and the heat shield boot around the steering rack. I was also going to rub down my chassis bits and give them a paint of hammerite.

Anything else I SHOULD do.

Maybe renew any copper brake pipes while you have the room?
Tidy up and tape up your wiring loom?

New engine mounts also might be worth looking at rebushing the gear linkage.
