changing my aum pedal to agu is impossiable is there a way to use the dbw system ?
-
need a dbw ecu and loom if you want to use the dbw pedal. Shouldn't be that hard to knock up a simple cable throttle pedal though?
-
it is mate when u have nowere to mount the pedal
-
Can imagine there is somewhere to mount the pedal.
Why you changing it to cable?
-
erm i had a AUM engine and it blew so i wanted to get the agu engine for the bigger ports but this conversion in a mk4 is weird
-
Put the AUM throttle body on the AGU inlet ;)
-
but will that work...dont the ecu have to tell the throttle body when to open
-
Well it depends what you are going to do? Are you going to use the AUM ECU? if so, you will need to keep the DBW throttle pedal.
If your going for a ful AGU conversion (ECU aswell) then you will need the cable pedal box.
Why not put a AGU head and inlet with the AUM VVT and throttle body onto a AUM block? Even a AGU block might work depending what sensor differences there is.

nooo im using agu set up  is there a quide on how to do this
