was driveing my golf 1.8t agu.. 2nyt  and it suddley started running all funny as like it was running on 3 cylinders loss ov power , spluttring  so ill pulled over switch engine off for about 5 mins then caryyed on with my journey thn 5 mins later started doing againg so just carryed on driveing  then it went away for a few miles then started doing it again any one know wat this could be poss cat ????

get it scanned.  i would think it'll be a coil or poss MAF

Mine did the same, ignition amp had died

thanks wat kind ov scanner would i need ??and wat is a  ignition amp ? cheers
