Hi guys and girls.
I've noticed that every so often when i start my car there is a strange fizzing kind of noise once the engine has started. It's hard to describe the sound but i'd liken it to the sound of a wind up toy car if you had wound it up and then picked it up so that the wheels fizzed away. Crap explanation i know...errm, ok it basically sounds like something whizzing round. It only last a couple of seconds but i know it's not a good noise. Could it be that my starter motor is on the way out or perhaps a problem with the alternator ?
The car starts and runs fine all the time (touch wood) so i'm left a bit baffled by this one.
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
p.s Got myself some new wheels last week. A set of 16" MkIV five spokes. Very pleased with the look of them. Car just needs lowering a bit now.

Sounds like the started motor mate, maybe worth getting it checked out by an auto electrician
