Can't find anything online but I bought one from Amazon for about 30 pounds.

A bit steep for a manual but worth every penny.

It is a real shame.  Damn Americans!

They had their own 2 litre engine.  Only 8v, no 16v option.

It had a funky intake manifold with longer intake runners to improve torque.  Looks a bit like the ABF engine with the large manifold on top.

115 bhp and 122ft-lb.

This engine was used in all American Petrol Golfs including GTIs and Cabriolets, but not GTI badged VR6s, obvioulsy.

The poor Canadians got a 1.8 ACC engine for the CL model.

ANyway, enough reading! It's probably worth buying for non engine stuff though.  Suspension, brakes, interior, wiring diagrams (278 pages of the bloody things) etc.

So much clearer than Haynes with a proper exploded diagram of everything.

I don't think 30 quid is steep at all, as the manual is extremely detailed and is huge!
