Title: Hi Everyone I'm new. Need your tuning advice please
Post by: MrJoseph.com on 25 April 2005, 14:51
HI,

I've got a Corrado 1.8 16v and I'm looking for more power. The easiest option is to go out and buy a VR6 but I don't have £3000. I've decided to get a 2.0 16v block and start from there. Can anyone suggest any other performance upgrades I can do to the block while it's out to increase the power?

ahh...im stumped.  although someone will know what you can get done.  try phoning AMD or another tuning company and they will be able to tell you what you can get done to the engine....

get the inlet cam swapped for an exhaust one which has been machined to fit, get the warm  up regilator mod carried out to set up your fuel pressure.... 4branch manifold 2.0l abf bottom end head work take some off the head to increase compression full stainless and get rid of the mega restrictive boxes they have on rados.... the list goes on!

for 500quid and a rolling road it could be pushing out some ponies though.

I like the idea of a 1.8t engine but I don't know anyone that has done it.
