Title: What is your theme?
Post by: Jay on 04 October 2011, 20:13
Post up some pics of your current theme/wallpaper. Please include links to the background images so others can download them, please also obey copyright where it applies, if at all.

Themes/background images/Lock screens etc can be from your computer, phone or tablet.

I'll kick it off, I've removed all but 1 homescreen, changed the number of icons from 4 to 5 both vertical and horizontal, changed the dock from 3 to 5 app launchers.

My computers are all running standard theme's and desktop as I've got no inspiration at all (hence this thead!), my Work PC still has the default Windows 7 background that I chose when installing it

Can't be bothered jailbreaking it with ios5 coming out next week.  I like to use a lot of folders to keep things neat and uncluttered though.

That's pretty sweet Stu, what launcher are you running? ADW, Launcher Pro, Launcher Pro Plus or  ?

Got some widgets back on my gadget

Edit: put them the *right way round* so the background fades correctly.

Cheers mate, it is Go Launcher EX.

Use to run Launcher Pro Plus, but the bloke who does that has not updated for months now and noticed a lot of force closes with it lately.

Using the 7Linux Rom..is awesome, comes with Launcher Pro, ADW , Go Launcher and two other launch programmes.

Put my old wallpaper back on I made aaaaages ago, got rid of the apps & widgets on the homescreen, again deleting all home screens bar the one -  only keeping the App Drawer icon to get to my apps. Might redo it in the correct font (myriad pro semibold) later. Will see how long I can live without the phone/viber/text app on the homescreen  Might put them back on with custom icons.

Changed My theme again  Got bored of the mono button pretty quick.

Also made long hold (1 sec) on my Menu button bring up the phone and long hold (1sec) on the search button bring up the settings before the theme change to make my phone a bit more functional

My Lock screen, Drag the padlocked bubble to unlock, drag the other to put in silent mode, control music with the play buttons at the bottom.

How did you get the custom icon on the Handecent widget?

I don't have Handcent

Custom icons are peasey easy. Desktop Visualizer is one such App that lets you create custom launchers with different icons, using paid for or free icon packs or images on your phone.

PS: If you have a decent ROM (http://www.cyanogenmod.com/) you can change the icons of the apps on your homescreen by long holding on them and choosing Edit, which gives you a load of options, one is to change the icon from icon packs, images on the phone etc etc

Oh right soz. The blue smiley face thing looks like a Handecent message icon but looks like the widget which you can't edit normally. Can do the icon with an app obvs.

Cheers, I'm gonna get a new case and root my phone I think. :)
