Title: Carb re build?

My car was juddering today on acceleration drove around 14 miles no problems then as i was pulling into our road she started to judder, managed to park up turned engine off. Had a quick look on google and from what i've read there could be some crap thats blocked the jets in the carb (webber) or what ever which would be causing the mentioned issue. Now am I right in thinking this and is a re build the only option to get her running well again? She only juddered 3 times and has only done it since I ran her in the red.

Would i need a new fuel pump??

Have you replaced the fuel filter.
