Title: Brakes & Suspension Upgrades - What to fit to 1.8T
Post by: Procomp on 04 October 2011, 14:49
Hi
Looking to upgrade my car for doing some track days.  Does anyone have any links to previous posts on these subjects or advise about what people fit to increase the performance of the brakes and handling of the car.

Cheers
G

Uprate brake fluid with some higher boiling point stuff.

Replace rubber hoses with braided goodridge

Uprate carriers to allow 312mm discs (as above)

Get better brand disc/pad combo like mintex, ferrado etc...

Rear antiroll bar

Uprate all bushes to powerflex or similar from dogbone to wishbones...

Coilovers, some will say wietec etc... if on a budget I'd go JOM as they are stiff even with a small drop over the FK-AK's

Install some ducting to blow on the vents, popular in the states not seen it much in the UK
