Title: BHP UK remaps (BHP-UK.net)
Post by: rs_dude on 04 October 2011, 11:50
Hello all,

Has anyone heard of BHP UK Automotive in Burnley?  Have a look at there website here: http://www.bhp-uk.net/ (http://www.bhp-uk.net/)

I can't seem to find any reviews online so they're either new, or not very popular!

I aint got a clue who they are but there warranty claims seems good.

Customer satisfaction is paramount at BHP UK. Our guarantee to you is very simple, should you not be 100% satisfied with your ECU Remap or chip tune, we will return your car to standard and give you a full refund.

We beleive this to be the strongest indicator of how confident we are in our remaps and the ability of our in house map writers.

But in my eyes the confidence is know the map is good and not have to think about refunds if customers not happy?

These companies are popping up everywhere now.  Ask them who provides their software and then decide if they're good or not...

I think the average person could be 'happy' with a remap from them but I would go with one of the popular names on here...'satisfied' with a remap is not what I would want to be.

Imagine turning to your girlfriend after 'making love' and saying how was that and she said satisfactory!?!?

I would want to be a little more than satisfied with a map, which you would get from the popular guys on here.

I've used these guys and their service really is brilliant, they're not the cheapest but but you do get a good set up on the dyno as opposed to a mobile remap.

My mate has just had a hybrid turbo fitted by them on his Audi TT and it goes really well.

im going to be giving these guys a ring today, no idea how much it will cost me but they claim they can convert my Mk3 8v to 128bhp, with 178 torque

worth an enquiry

I'll be going R-tech when i get a remap. I'm live in south London but would rather travel to a trust worthy place and everyone on here seems to like them.

Its good to see them quoting realistic number via the phone,  most website databases are generic maybe copy and past from tool providers ect.. Like mine..lol

I know they write their own maps and have their own Dynojet dyno, which is a significant investment, so can't see why they would use generic values, also noted that the website is being revamped, so perhaps that has something to do with it.
I've used them in the past and got a good honest tune with no bullish!t sales patter, they delivered exactly what they promised and proved the gains on their dyno.
