There is a Version F out; but most second hand ones advertised are Version C. Mine is Version D. There are lots of differentt s/ware versions too. There are some very informative web sites for info - try VWNavi etc.

Anyone know where I can get some price lists of different versions? I imagine Volkswagen's list is slightly inflated? Also, can the Sat Nav be compared to the likes of TomTom for ease of use, accuracy and etc?

Was thinking about buying a new Sat Nav soon and some bluetooth but something tells me for a little more I can get one of these.

eBay is your best bet. They all seem to come with Lithuania but I ordered a version H (same hardware as F, but newer maps I believe) £600 delivered which I'm pretty happy with!

I'm really cynical about using eBay for technology purchases so would rather buy in-person. I just can't think who would stock them? I doubt they'll be sold at my local Tesco!

Is Lithuania where they shipped from? What's your opinion on the Sat Nav? Did you fit it yourself?

I think you will save a heck of a lot of money by buying off eBay. You're covered by eBay and PayPal and if you stick it on credit card you've also got an extra layer of protection. Yeah they are shipped from Lithuania but no import duties as it's within EU. I've just bought one and haven't got my car yet, it's arriving early March, but apparently fitting is as easy as removing the trim, unscrewing the old radio, installing the new one etc - no coding required (except for advanced features, but it will work without)
