i dont think ive had ABS for a few months now, the ABS light has been on, plugged in the vagcom, said it was the front right, so we changed the driver side sensor, reset the vagcom, the fault came back, stating front right, despite it being a new sensor, my mate suggests buying a sensor for the front passenger, but surely thats the front left?
should we change the sensor and see what happens as its a waste of a tenner if theres nowt wrong with it? what else could it possibly be on the front driver side?
cheers

faulty wiring?
-
Check the earths ontop of the battery .
-
ill check the earths, is the abs wire changeable? where does it go to?
thanks
-
Not sure but I was in the same
Poaiation , changed the earth fuses after various other things and it was fine
-
My ABS light has started to stay on also... Will need to check things out
-
well i looked at the top of my battery, all look fine, theres only an earth and a live cable(s) theres no additiional wires
with the light permantly on, im assuming ive had no abs at all?
-
my light was on,
abs worked fine.
-
how can you tell if abs is working fine? all my other cars have been outdated rot boxes
last week i had to break hard, i locked up
-
It goes dim dum dum dum like little blows etc
-
hmm, well im not getting that
i dont really want to spend £15 on a sensor if i know that isnt the problem, how easy/difficult is the cable to change?
thanks again
