Title: mk4 golf throttle body gasket
Post by: scooter perv on 02 October 2011, 21:19
Just a quickie but need to know whether all mk4 golfs have a gasket between the throttle body and unit it bolts to with the 4 allen headed bolts? Got problems with eratic idle and thought id give the t/b housing a good clean today and noticed there was no gasket there. Its a 1.6 se if that helps `98 plate. Gave it a good clean cos it was well gunked up but its only made it worse so hoping that if I run it around it may reset or find someone with vag.com but it could be this missing gasket that is not helping.
