Title: mk4 golf oil pressure problems

Hi i have been getting the red oil pressure warning light flashing on my 1.4l 16v mk4 golf. It only started this week so i got a new oil filter and a can of flush to try and clear out anything that could have been blocking it. But as soon as the new oil was in i let it run through before starting it then later tried driving it. It runs but oil light still flashes after about 30 seconds of driving. Next thing i will be trying is a new pressure switch and cleaning the oil strainer out. If anyone else has had the same problem and has figured it out any help would be appreciated.

Right well thanks for all rushing to answer. i found it under the engine cover like i said obvious place

Could well be a pump or pressure problem.
