Title: SW Rolling Road Day
Post by: Wayne on 01 October 2011, 00:11
Thinking of trying to sort a Rolling Road Day / morning out @ TSR, mid November

Anyone interested.

If I can get a rough number of people, I will then find out prices etc.

Can't believe I didn't spot this thread before.

I'm a 'possible' dependant on date as have got a few family things on in November.
If you can get a near enough date I'll throw up a couple of threads on swdubs, mk5golfgti and cupranet to see if we can get some decent numbers.

That sucks. Guess being pretty much winter, people dont wanna stand around in the wet and cold. Fair enough.

Not a bad idea Wayne, get Christmas out of the way and maybe people will be itching to do some car stuff, response is a little lacking at present it seems.
The last one I went to in November 2009 was really well attended so maybe everyone has lost their enthusiasm in the last couple of years!! I wonder if attendances for all car events are down this year..?

Well done Wayne for trying to get the ball rolling.
swdubs had a meet at Exeter services the other weekend and the turn out was sh!te compared to previous ones so I think it's just something in the air at the moment.

Here's to a much better take-up in 2012 ... it could be the last rolling road day before the end of the world!!!
