Title: Dump valve

Wanting to put a dump valve on my golf turbo has anyone had any problems or what is the best dump valve to get thanks

forge 007p are best (awesome do them for under £80)

If you don't want to spend that much, don't use a loud whoosh type as they cause running issues! only get a recirc type valve

and fit it backwards if you want to hear it

I looked at this and apparently it can cause boost leaks
I fitted mine backwards and it instantly caused a boost leak, it also sounds like a chirp as opposed to a 'normal' DV noise

Just bin the standard one and replace with a Forge 007 :smiley:

forge 007 is the one to go for

however if your after dump valve sound you'll need an open cone / cai induction kit or drill some holes into the airbox.

or as suggested fit in reverse but I lost boost when trying this and it doesn't sound too good - makes a loud noise though  :grin:

It with a pipercross filter will gain a little more power

greater air flow

worth doin as doesnt cost anything to do

apart from buying pipercross filter  :wink:
