Title: car boot sales
Post by: Misky on 30 September 2011, 13:44
Anyone run one or go to them regularly?
Im thinking of selling a lot of new car accesories I have in bulk on one. Battery chargers, metal tax disc holers, usb chargers, organisors, torches, car care gift sets etc.

are they better than ebay etc?

Anyone ever found any bargains on them?

Been going to one every sunday for the past few months or so. Been seeing more and more 'dealers' there who are there every week though selling their knocked off stuff.

Beware though, as soon as the weather gets a bit colder/wetter, hardly anybody will go unless you can find a good indoors one.

We've done a couple. Pretty good for getting rid of lots of bits. Made a couple of hundred each time from stuff we would have chucked anyway.
Easier than ebay, it's all gone in a day (although you do need to spend time sorting your stuff beforehand).
