Hi all got 1.8t golf and I have lowered it 55mm still on standard wheels how big can I go before I get rubbing

Mines lowered on 18's with no problems  :cool:

18" is the best all round choice.

Depends on the width and ET of the wheel. A really wide 16" alloy will rub the arches if you're low enough.

i've got 19's.... look nice but makes the ride a tad too hard really, I'd stick with 18's for a daily driver.

Go for a nice set of 18's mate.. Will look the dogs danglers with a 55mm drop  :wink:
