Hi i recently got a set of s3 battery and water bottle covers however i have now decided i want to fabricate my own. The question is which material is best for wieght, thickness and looks?

If you can affor it carbon fibre if not I would probably use something like a common plastic for example similar to that used in coke bottles

I'd say if you want to fabricate stuff like that and be able to easily make any shapes and curves you want without special gear, it has to be fibreglass.

You can get a very good finish if painted with a decent fill coat.

or you could just make sure finished items are smooth enough to be wrapped.
Glass can sometimes be a bit of a pain to work with at times though.
