Title: Rattling drivers window

This is really getting on my t*ts!  Have replaced the rubbers top and bottom around window frame, but it is still dropping slightly and rattling over rough roads.  The mechanism seems to drop very slightly, and if I give the window a little nudge outwards there is a bit of movement.

Do I need to replace the whole mechanism as well as the rubbers?  Journey to work is becoming irritating! :angry:

could be the mechanism and that the twisted metal chord has stretched causing it to drop.
