Hi all
Can anyone give a rough figure of power increase doing the following mods on a gti
Forge twintercooler
Carbonio intake
Miltek sports cat and 3.5" cat back
Superchips remap

240 bhp

240 bhp
WOW!! That's a hell of an increase

I'd be expecting it to be a bit more than that. Should a bluefin map not take it to 240bhp on it's own. With a full tb exhuast and intake I'd imagine the power would be nearer 250-260hp?
I could be wrong though :undecided:

240-245bhp is about right. The bolt on tuning mods are not going to make any big peak power gains until the map has been adjusted to demand a higher load. Once the engine has met the load the ecu is asking for the ecu will cut back on the power. To make the most of your mods you would best off getting superchips to update your map to ask for more load and lean the fuel out at the top end to take into account te sports cat. (a good stage 1 remap would be running the the fuel in the 11s at the top end to act as a thermal protection map for the oe down pipe and cat.
On there own merits your bolt on mods will make the car feel much more free and seem to have a stronger midrange.

Increase in power would be 40 to 50bhp
