Title: The Splits are on!! pics inside!!
Post by: Gambit on 24 April 2005, 17:15: finally managed to get the split rims on it for the summer. had to get them refurbed and wasnt sure whether to go for dark centres or not but i well chuffed with them

my camera skills aint up to much!!

yep it is indeed down in the shipyard in Belfast, or whats left of it!!

if anyones interested in how much they cost to get refurbed - well heres a breakdown

Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£40 - to get them shot blasted
Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£40 - 120 new bolts
Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£100 - centres painted
Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£20 - to get the outer edges polished

i split them down myself & rebuilt them

Wheels look great

it was a fella just outside Newtownards - on the moville road. think he's called Blastclean solutions - can get you his number if you want. very easy to deal with and had them done for me in a day

Halfords standard 8mm socket is all you need. its a 12 point (or 8 maybe!) socket but it fits perfectly for them
