Title: mk3 golf with side exit?

Any one here own a black mk3 with either lenso or bbs alloys and a side exit exhaust and was coming through leatherhead, surrey this morning?

Was a strange site to see at 7.30am. Black mk3 with smooth side strips, lenso or bbs alloys and a side exit exhast. Letter box style poking out just behind the drivers door?!
 ill see if i see him again tomos and have the camera ready!

dont have any pics. but i snapped my exaust a while back so bought the side exit cheap off someone over on ed38.
it was built for a mk3 estate so didnt fit great. looked ok and sounded alright. but it didnt look right from behind missing an exhaust. plus it would catch on the smallest bump in the road. i'll ask my friend and see if hes got any pics.

I saw a lowered black mk3 in chertsey yesterday is this the same one? I'm also in a lowered black mk3 in chertsey so if it was you you probably saw me as well :P

I remember see an exhaust like that for sale on edition 38, was connected straight to the suitcase part.

that is probably the worst mk3 that could have it lol. i would of said 3 doors are the only ones that could pull it off, and through the sill too

as promised heres the pic. where the broom handle is is where the middle box was but i hacked that off tou use on my new exhaust. that estate is probs the car that the exhaust is from. and it used to vibrate on the sill like crazy which is another reason why i got rid of it!

I live in Finland, drove my Gti mk3 from Ireland to here...crashed and bought a 16v mk3 gti.

All good until...-23 the car started perfect in morning (as usual) but out of work...had to chrank it 20 minutes...nothing...then begin like in 3 cilinders...shut off...again 3 cilinders...and after warm PERFECT...all runs perfect. After cold again No Start. Changed the Spark plugs, the leads, the coil, the rotor, the cup... IT DOES NOT START AT ALL NOW .

Please, really need the car for work... Can anybody help me

as said above start your own thread to get more replies/help
but try your crank sensor common fault and could cause the symptoms your car is showing. Also -23 isn't good for any car lol
