I have a jbl 10" sub 1000w in a box.
what would be the best amp to run on it.i want something that can handle deep bass.dubstep.drum n bass etc.
I was looking at this:

Fantastic amp and at a very good price.
What is your sub like though as you wont get shocking bass from a 10", you will get some good low notes and some night tight punches but to get a deeper drop will mean increasing the size of your sub.....A good all rounder is a good 12".

if its the sub im thinking, im guessing its about 350wrms? (1000 peak)in which case, that amp will be ok to run at 4ohm, nothing more, otherwise the following weekend you will be buying a new sub
as the person above me said, look at a 12" sub, theyre better all round, some audio places like bass junkies do offers for your requirements
12" sub in either ported or sealed box
decent amp to match the sub
decent gauge cabling to power the above

I normally spend between £1200 - £1500 per install but at the time of gettting the golf I was strapped for cash and ended up buying a Fusion powerplant all in one for £200 and it quite frankly shocked me at how good it was but you need to make sure you have a goot fitting kit with the thickest wires you can afford they make all the difference.
