Hi,

Im trying to sort out the bad running/ misfire problem on my 8V MK3 and we have narrowed it down to the "Air Flow Sensor / Air Mass Sensor":

Whats the proper name for this part? Any idea where i can pick one up?

We swapped the sensor from another MK3 and the ride was performing brilliant - WOW it was great for that one ride  laugh

the euro car parts online catalouge is playing up! but they are £145 from
gfs

18787B AIR MASS METER-SIEMENS  G3 AFT/ADY/AGG  £145.00  so i would have thought there all the same price.... so your looking at 145!!

other than that you could look in yellow pages for car dismantlers or vw gti breakers!

someone at dubfreeze vw show handed me a leaflet about vwsport golf gti dismantlers!

heres their details it says mail order specialists next day delivery! i dont know if there any good but its worth giving them a try they take all major credit cards aswell!
