It must have been a good year since I bought some wheels...and I'm feeling the need to add to my collection, so looking to see what's available!
Mk5/Mk5 18" wheels.
They must be 18", 7.5"/8.0" or 8.5" wide depending on offset.
Genuine VW or decent aftermarket wheels....don't mind a bit of scuffing as I'm prone to a spot of re-furbing.
No multi-drilled wheels.
Basically, OEM VW/Audi etc, BBS, Ronal, etc.
Anybody got any sitting doing nothing, that they want to part with?
I've posted in the Wanted section too...but I may have more luck in here.

That's the spirit!
But are these to go on a mk5 or is the decision made and you're to keep the mk6?
Your mk6 is amazing and really should be kept.
I'll keep an eye out as I wander round the various forums in the middle of the night.
There's a set of Audi Fat Fives on the Scirocco forum that aren't cheap but a bit unusual.
I've just let a mint set with good tyres go.
I also know of a possible set of Black Monzas but not sure if he's still selling (my old set) or even if that's your thing.

Well...I'm not sure what they will go on.
I have given my winter BBS CHs to my girlfriend...with the promise of the matching 'spare' set for summer with summer tyres on....since she is offering to ferry my sorry ass about for a year.
So I will need some winter wheels...and new winter tyres!!
Unless I buy some wheels she likes more, so I can steal my CHs back again!
Either way...they could go on a Mk5 or a Mk6...
But I will be keeping my Mk6. :smug:
I am open to all suggestions...I quite fancy a change!
One simply cannot have too many wheels to choose from

A man after my own heart.
And it is so good to hear you're going to keep the red rocket, ooops, I'm beginning to sound like Asker, errr I mean the mk6.
I copy and pasted the fat fives for another guy on the mk5 forum as you need to be a member on the Scirocco forum. Not sure if they're your cup of tea but they are such an easy design to clean that they'd be ideal for winters:

There is nothing like extreme wheel therapy in situations that require a radical approach.

They are coullstar's wheels - Graeme Coull - a mate of mine, who was down at GTI International with us this year!
I did see them, but at 8.5" wide, the offset is a bit low to fit the Mk6, in my mind.
I'm not into this whole stretch/poke/tuck show boll*cks...and I know how close my 8.5" 192 are on a 52mm offset...so a 45mm offset will likely have them out of the arches.
Well spotted though...and if they were 8" wide, they'd be perfect winter wheels.

Mk5 R32 wheels any good, my last years winter wheels,
Taking tyres off and fitting OZs for this years winter wellies

Neil
A few questions please: -
Are they genuine or replicas?
Are all the wheels in good nick (I'd expect so as I know you are particular!)
Presume these are 18s? What tyres size do they need?
What brand tyres did you have? I was looking at Vredestein Wintrac Xtreme for my winters
If I bought I could collect depending whereabouts in E Yorks you are - I'm in Huddersfield so straight down the 62...
Thanks
Adrian

Giving Glen 1st refusal on these

Discussed with Adrian via PM today and we've agreed he should buy these from Neil.
Closer and easier for both parties.
Make it so

Big thanks to Glen for his generosity in stepping aside
