Someone please tell me the one from TPS is better than the one on ebay
with a difference of £25
I wouldnt mind but didnt even solve my problem :lipsrsealed:

The listing on ebay states nothing regarding the quality and make of the sensor.
did TPS state OE quality?
-
tps is o.e stuff, so dealer prices (and I guess they sold at full retail at that price...let me know the part no)

-

-
It is better to use genuine if you can.

This. But then again, considering it takes about 30 seconds to replace, I'd rather go cheap as I doubt u would have to replace it 6 times to get the same amount of time before the oe one fails. :undecided:
-
nope TPS all the way on these items, the mk3 engine platform with all sensors has enough issues as is, change it once rather than faff about numerous times with crappy ebay ones!

Not just that mate, I wouldn't trust them to give as decent reading.
Worth the extra money, I got a genuine one for free and made a difference when I replaced it.

i paid £10 for a temp sensor and the fault code kept coming back, paid £32 from vw for one and its now sorted
-
Meh.........you win some, u lose some.
-
when i got my temp sensor of ebay for £6 quid i think it was for the leon it had the exact same part no as the genuine one that came of the car, not all cheap stuff is crap some are good.

Thats a good thing about ecu's in cars, They have to work to tiny tolerances with these sensors, 1ohm or degc out of the set perameters the sensor has to work to, and that light is on your dash
So its a lottery with the non O.E.
