Well got the car back from the bodyshop last week with the last modification i will be making on the car as its time to sell. Would have really wanted to continue with the project and do everything to it that i had planned but i know have my sensible head on and seel it as it wont get used.
Here's how she looks.

White ones are very rare i think, looks very tidy, how much are you selling it for if you dont mind me asking?

Yes original Candy White ones are very rare, not many left the factory in 3 door 1.8T format. Im seeling it for £3300 with alot of tuning mods. See for sale section for details.
Thanks Dave, i wasnt to sure when i bought it if it would look right but i do think it looks well black on white.

yeh your right mate. looks like they didnt come.
not sure on replacement yet as company car arriving tomorrow so in no rush to buy a new one if this sells. have been looking at mk4 r32's, BMW E46 M3, mk5 Edition30, a old Porsche or Escort Cosworth. Some may take some saving

undecided at the mo mate. Gonna have a Scirocco as a company car so still got a VAG but i cant do anything to it.lol.
Will see what happens, need to sell it first.

But then again I guess getting a brand new Sirocco as a company car is sweet!!! did you get to pick any options? engine more importantly?Actually I heard even the TSI is a hoot!

tbh mate its time to move it on. gonna have no need for it and would just be in the garage. the car deserves to be enjoyed and seen.
The sad day will be this weekend, will be saying fairwell to not only the car, but also the forum (unless i get the new weekend toy that keeps me on the golf map), but if not then will be a fairwell after a good few years and meeting some interesting people and making friends i would say i will never meet.
As for the Rocco - with it being for work i went fot the GT Tdi 140bhp Bluemotion, with some optional extra's and after 5 days use i love the car, real comfort drive and isnt bad in sports suspension mode, handles really well (lot better than the golf). And it does have other good benefits. :cool:

Only problem is i cant modify it and i dont have to pay for repairs or servicing so not alot to talk about. but may still pop in from time to time and check on the mk4 boys

if i was goning to get a m3 then i wud get a E46 M3 mate. alot nicer on the eyes.
The scirrocco is here mate, had it a week and already clocked up 1000miles.

Yeah E46 is a fricking bargain of a car and a great all round car and people forget how great performance cars being so common on of my fav cars ..driven a few..CSL is ultimate :P
I thougth we was talking "modern" classic when escort cossies come into hence my e30 suggestion :P

hold its money? 5-6 years ok "ok" e30's where 5-7k.. now they've literally shot up to twice that.. Half decent evo 2's are 20k plus..

its a foookin animal sounds awesome and these pics do not do it justice trust me its immaculate inside and out hes spents ££££££ on it from full respray down to retrim on steering wheel, and it loves being sideways :wink:
