sorry to the dude I met in formby Petrol station, as im pi**ed & I feel i might have insulted him, SOORRRYYY!
As he told me he was getting his J reg red (pink) driver re-spray for £300 Sorry for laughing but that is a TAD cheap for a good respray (for all the prepwork, sanding, removing dents, re-apply zinc coating & after the spray to be baked!!)
He said "so you are the guy who knows all the prices" Com on guys any of you will know a good re-spray will cost more than £300
As mine is getting done soon for £700 & my mates are in the trade!! (huge discount)
I'm V-pissed at the mo
Plus I told him that my MK2 is A reg & was bought in April 1984 & he said so it's so old does it have mk1 rear lights????
How can my Mk2 have Mk1 rear lights?? lol
rant over, will laugh at my stupid post when sober 2morrow

no mk2's had mk1 rear lights.
£300 sounds cheap, but the price is always down to how much the bodyshop want to charge. there is a hell of a lot of work involved so maybe it will cost £300. the quality isn't down to how much you pay either.

opps mk2 had mk1 rear lights, I'n neer seen 1
As my mk2 didn't come with side indicators, but my rear lights are mk2, just my fuel pump is not mk2 or is my master cyilnder (when I went for replacements) as my master cylinder only has 3 connectors for the break pipes were the later mk2's have 4????????????
