Is it illegal to not fit an airbag to your golf? they told me i need a 3 star airbag to fit an R32 steering wheel, but im actually thinking of not putting an airbag on to save cost.... and what are the procedures in removing an airbag, thanks guys

Airbags are ok but my last mk4 was written off just because of the damage to the interior from the airbags, without them it would have been repaired!!

Your thinking of fitted an R32 steering wheel with no airbag?

Thats going to look silly and you'll also lose your horn.
Also it will be a big no no when you inform your insurance company of the modification, they won't like you ditching safety equipment.
