Wow...
-
That was deep!!
-
Makes you think!!!

unfotunately a part of my work is organising road closures for RTC's and horror stories like this happen often. unfortunately dealing with public complaint about access also comes into play for our guys who are put in the same situation as this officer. tragic and puts alot into perspective.

Respect....
I saw 4 lads burn to death in an accident when I was a learner! It still haunts me 18 years on!
-
So horrible. You think "come on you could get them out" when reading but obviously in reality it would be just as impossible.
Would be such a horrible position to be in.
-
Very courageous. Lots of respect for the police. Lucky enough to have never come across one that has been a bit of a jobsworth. Normal guys just doing their job, and idiots that think otherwise and give them grief should be locked up.
-
nice
-
No words for that really
This is why I hate it when people police-bash, I always think one day they could be your only hope.
-
Wow.
-
It's sad that there are so many pricks out there like that.
-
wow. does make you think.

I will be that policeman in a few months hopefully.. I've already been to a few near fatal rtc's is not nice or fun and all you get is abuse from most people.. Someone has to do it and i love my job

On a side note my mate is a fireman, deals with some horrific accidents as im sure we can all imagine.
He once told me on various occasions other firemen have joked and and even taken pics of the dead... Nice
-
That story reminds me of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mz3ZzSXyWM
Roger Williamson was a friend of my brother, David Purley was an absolute hero on this day, and although I was very young at the time, I can remember this happening live on TV one sunday afternoon, my brother was devastated...
Different situation, but the same dispair

Really good read that, nice account of a day in the life.....
I worked in the Abulance servcie for a few years and if you cant life and joke about the dead you will fall to bits, I have seen dead Children, burnt bodies, the worst car crashes, and dozens of jumpers....... untill your there dont judge what they have to go through

Just read this, and that was really deep. :undecided: I would hate to have been in either of their positions.
-
Thats deep. its poeple like that officer that should get medals for bravery.
-
thats deep, the storys my uncle tells me ( fireman ) just really does make you think twice! and being that i live close to him, if i ever was to have a serious crash, it could be him cutting me out!
