I should of added that this friend is female... and already has a few houses. SO £60k for a car only!!

She wont do older cars.. as thats just not fashionable. Nothing with 4 doors, or shouty look at me styling. The front runners are R8 and 911 (of some kind).

Im pretty sure we can do better!!

Something from this page:

http://www.bristolcars.co.uk/preowned.html

Because you need to make the point that a new car will be in fashion for about five minutes.

A Bristol will be stylish forever and hold its value, as well.

I'd take the 1977 Bristol Brigand and probably some choice upgrades, like DTA management on the motor.

I'm a Porsche man so would have had an 'in your face' old Porsche but an R8 seems a good choice.

Good choice with the Granturismo    thats what i would probably go for in her position.... If it was me I would go new m5.

She knows a little about cars having had a boxteS for a while, and now a new shape TT. She will not entertain anything that is old/mature man-ish, so the bristol is out.

I think she is sold by the R8...  :undecided:

I don't think anyone who could afford a GT-R would stick anything on from Halfords.

My mate pete has a red R8 convertible, driven it, loved it, drove his 360 spider last year and the R8 was much nicer

R8 FTW, but i would also have a Lambo as you dont see many, not round where i live anyway
Title: Re: Money to burn!!

The lambo looks like the winner here... its probably the only other she would go for after the 911 and the R8.

Money to burn..... Had this 'discussion' with my uncle today....

Chopping an 11 Plate Panamera Turbo

For a 911 Turbo S .... Taking it back after 9 f**kING DAYS!

For a 61 plate Panamera Turbo S

Can you IMAGINE the hit on that shiz?

Oh and I'd go R8 allday

tbh the only other car i would go for is the 911 (which is a little bland) or the gran turismo which will depreciate like a brick  :undecided:

Was it the V8 R8? If so im not suprised, its not that special (in comparison to the V10 R8)

GTR is just quick, nothing else really. Best car would be a 911 for her as an overall package. Maserati is nice but you would have to love it and they are not very fast.

A bently continental would be a good shout.

Other end of the spectrum: Range Rover Sport
