Title: mk2/3 Mirrors

Does mk3 golf wing mirrors fit a late mk2?  Silly question tho, but would be grateful if somebody knows! :)

It's not a direct swap, different base plates for a start. Reckon mk3 wing mirrors would look "odd" on a mk2.

Its not going to be a perment thing, just so it would pass a mot.

Only need one on  the drivers side iirc. If it's a passenger one then could fit a blank. Otherwise manual mk2 mirrors aren't too hard to source, sure someone on here could sort you out.
