as above guys any ideas look for some sort of guide but kind fine one for love no money mght be just me being thick, also i cant seem to find them for sale any where apart from the stealers i dont suppose any one got one for sale have they :grin:

Remove door skin and pop off the clips from inside? Worked for me on a mk3 at the scrappy recently :wink:

its abit more difficult on a mk4 from inside as it has got metal inner plate which is riveted to the door i believe i cant believe no one has ever taking them of just my look but thanks for the reply mr orange :angry:

are you sure? thought it was glue and locator pin things?
youre not talking about the metal plate where the windor regulator etc and the speaker is attached to are you?

yeh it got window motor attached to it hasnt it it is bolted on an riveted to the indoor so you cant get to the pins from inside i was just hoping i could pull the ext trim off :shocked:

It's not riveted, the speakers are but the whole panel isn't.... Its probably about 12 bolts or so then two for the window clips.... Undo the loom and take it out....

you sure it seems to have like four or five massive rivets or spot welds all around the metal plate on my last one i have to drill these before i could get it of to sort cables out mate
